within the 3 years I have been I first I have seen that some teams the mentors do a majority of the work. I saw one team with 2 kids looking at a mentor test things on the practice field. what do you guys think are some ways for first to help prevent this and to limit how much mentors help?

But I will offer a vignette: as a novice recruit to the Competition in January 1996, sitting in a large meeting room in the Center of New Hampshire, I heard Woodie Flowers say to the mentors: There are many ways to be a mentor and I won’t tell you what you must do. But there’s one thing you must NOT do, and that is let your students fail.
