Ok, so since everyone knows how weird I am, I emailed TheSpark.com (if you havent visited it yet, you should, they do great science projects, among other things) because they wanted to be notified of “Any science fairs you’ll be in (especially in the Boston area)”.
Sooooo, I emailed them this letter about UTC being next weekend.
My reply?
Hi Jessica. I’m actually going to be in Los Angeles during your competition. It sound like a lot of fun, though, and wish you the best of luck. Thanks for thinking of us. Take care.

So, there goes that idea…oh well, it was worth a shot.

Hey Jess–
Maybe you did already did… but… you could email them back with a list of all the competition dates and locations just in cause…
Maybe they’ll just “happen” to be in LA the week of the Cali regional too… you never know… and it may be worth a shot…
Just a suggestion

I did tell him about the other regionals (even though they need Boston area to transport their stuff easily), but thanks for the idea.
