This is correct. Declined by 1717, 2056, 1310 and 359. We planned it the night before. We were aiming for FCS of 148 or 67, and we decided that at the last moment. We also coordinated the scorch with 1983 because it is my sister’s/brother in law’s team–they knew it was coming; we had the same type of robot (ground pickup) and we agreed we wouldn’t play well together. You can see our captain giggling as the teams decline us. This illustrates how you can use the draft strategically and even the playing field. We could not have beaten a 1717/2056 alliance.
