There is no connection between my robot and the driver station

I was recently taught how to program for FRC, but I made the code and everything, but I have a problem where for some strange reason my laptop connects to the robot, but for some strange reason in the driver station it doesn’t appear connected, and we use another laptop to connect and the other laptop does appear connected in the driver station. Can anyone help me?

Yes, and first we connected my laptop but it didn’t work, and then they told me to disconnect it and then trying with the other laptop it worked, and I disconnected it so I could connect but again it didn’t work.

If the DS is connecting with one laptop but not another, make sure the team number is set, try disabling firewalls and turning off wifi (assuming you are connecting over ethernet).

If you are trying over wifi, try over ethernet.

My laptop doesn’t have an ethernet port, so I can only do it via wifi, but thank you very much anyway

A cheap USB to ethernet adapt can be a great tool for your team to pickup.

Are you using a RoboRio 2? If so, did you set your team number using the RoboRio imaging tool?

Let me investigate you well because as I am just starting with FRC, I don’t know very well which RoboRio we have.

I checked and we don’t have the RoboRio 2, we have the normal one

What do you mean by “normal one”. When you loaded the 2025 image, did you do it through an SD card or directly by connecting a laptop to the RoboRio

We use a normal RoboRio, meaning we don’t use the RoboRio 2, and we upload the code via WiFi, but for some strange reason on my laptop in the driver station it doesn’t appear to me that it is connected despite being connected via WiFi to the robot.

Did you set the team number when you loaded the 2025 image on the RoboRio?
