This event will give students the opportunity to learn more about engineering through a hands-on event. THOR 3 was a tremendous success for all our FIRST NC teams. We had 26 teams in attendance, including many of the best in the NC district. The competition was hard-fought on all sides and was a great day of robotics. The results can be seen on the event’s Blue Alliance page, though the playoffs are not included since we used the new double-elimination bracket system that has been proposed by FIRST headquarters. This worked very well, since it allowed for a six alliance playoffs and kept delays between playoff matches to a minimum. The winning alliance was the #1 alliance of 4829 (Titanium Tigers), 4795 (Eastbots), and 9999 (Titanium Tigers B-team). Videos of the event, including qualification matches, alliance selection, playoff bracket, and playoff matches, are found on the Titanium Tigers’ YouTube channel:

Doyenne Inspiration took place on October 16th and was an excellent day for all our female and non-binary team members here in North Carolina. There were 17 teams in attendance. The results can be seen on the event’s Blue Alliance page, though (as with THOR 3) only the qualification match data is available due to the use of the new double-elimination bracket system for the playoffs. Due to the size of the event, it was a four alliance playoffs. The winning alliance was the #1 alliance of 4829 (Titanium Tigers), 4795 (Eastbots), and 9999 (G-Force, a brand new pre-rookie team). Videos of the event, including qualification matches, alliance selection, playoff bracket, and playoff matches are found on the Titanium Tigers’ YouTube channel:
