Ive been watching the VCU regonal and ive noticed that they are allowing the human players to throw the intertubes over the player station. If memory serves correctly FIRST addressed this in an update saying that game peices may only be introduced to the field through the shute. Any thoughts?
Hmmm. The only rule i see in the book says that you can only enter them through the chute. But maybe i just didnt read it enough.
Changed in update 1
Section 7.3.2.3, Rule <G23> - The sentence “GAME PIECES may only be entered onto
the field through the CHUTE” has been changed to “GAME PIECES may enter onto the
field through the CHUTE.” Rule <G23> is completely consistent with Rule <R48>.
Ahh, ok, i must have read it wrong then… thank you
It looks like lots of people read the rule wrong as originally worded. It was always fine if you read it as “GAME PIECES may only be entered onto the field through the CHUTE” – i.e., you may not use the CHUTE to remove GAME PIECES from the field. I think they removed the word “only” because too many people thought it meant “GAME PIECES may only be entered onto the field through the CHUTE.”
