time change...

for all of you that live in Indiana, don’t forget to change your time to eastern for the clock on the forums. that is only because Indiana is retarded. during the summer, Indiana is in central time and during the winter we go back to eastern time. it gets REALLY confusing and annoying. now i have to get used to all the shows changing times on the network stations:mad:

I don’t understand why they just couldn’t pick a time zone. They had to be difficult…

Indiana, Arizona, and Hawaii are the only places in the country with any sanity regarding time changes.

Its the rest of the country that is couldn’t pick a time zone. New york is EST part of the year and EDT the other part. Indiana is always EST.

actually during the summer we are clasified as the central time zone. a lot of times they jsut call it “Indiana East”, so we just have our own time zone.

Not all of Indiana stays with the same time.
There are a few non-conformist up near Gary, IN and down south near Evansville, IN. :stuck_out_tongue:

Go Arizona and Hawaii

I like it that we don’t have to bother changing our clocks, not only is it less of a hassle, it makes us different.

I really like it how we dont change our clocks…but i hate it when we go to visit relatives in Ohio cuz the time is different (oh well)…Also i noticed that this forum isnt “special” enough to have a special Indiana time settting (but i see Hawaii got one;) )

Now, with the states that have a few towns who do change their clock and the rest of the state that doesn’t…doesn’t that throw you off if you leave that town? It’s one thing to be a whole state that doesn’t do it…but to have a town or two that does? I would be so confused!

There are towns in Indiana that the center of the street is the dividing line between time zones.
How confusing is that?

Evansville stays in central time i believe…but most of indiana is now on eastern time…it is no problem except when i come home for lunch and Win Ben Steins Money is on at 11:30 instead of 10:30! aggg lol Oh well…i have to wait till april before i can go home and watch it again. Saturday Night Live on Comedy Central will have to do. lol
