TIMS

Running a little slow for everyone??

A little bit, yeah.

edit: Anyone up for some checkers while we wait?

Can’t get in at all…dry run at 0900 this morning worked fine. Now, nothing.

Can’t even get the initial page to load.

I understand some teams have registered. Still trying here

Page hasn’t loaded for me yet…

edit: Finally got in at 12:19, only took 5-6 minutes after that.

Is there supposed to be a new page/button in TIMS for registration? All I see is editing the lead contact’s info.

I was in at 11:59 by our school clock - but it wasn’t noon yet for FIRST. Finally just got the log in page to load - now to actually log in…

session timer says I have been on for 2 minutes, the screen won’t load

i got in and registered for NH…just had to patient…took 15 minutes to get all the way through.

We, too, just registered for NH! See you there.

FIRST should consider hosting TIMS on Amazon EC2 or a similar service - it would allow them to scale up elastically for registration days.

Can somebody please tell me where to go to reg? I am on TIMS and there is no buttons or anything that shows for signing up for events. Flusteration is running VERY high right now LOL::ouch::

While there is major improvement in the TIMS System… is there a better way to do sign-up?

Team 51 got in ( 12:15) took many tries (15 min) and many time outs of the server… finally done but we are wait listed for our choices ( In Michigan you select both your districts ).

Looks like it is getting faster.

It’s Foley’s fault.

Your team screen should look something like the attached.
However, if all your green status checkmarks are not there for your Team Profile, then you’ll have to complete those before the “Edit/View” button will appear in the Event Registration section.

Nope! 6 weeks ago when we had to go into TIMS. Because I am a volunteer and coach, they had to merge my accounts. FIRST is telling me that they messed up on my account when they merged.

It is now fixed and we are on 2 waitlists but that is normal for MI.

Now my computer that was going to be tossed through a window can survive!!

It appears the closer to NH you are , the easier it was to register

Two or three years ago, it ran flawlessly. No, the excitement of registration day is back. We are in for Hartford, but it took 20 minutes.

Finally, after 90 minutes I was able to register. San Antonio, here we come!

I was having the same problem that maltz1881 was having. No screen but the welcome screen. Then after 90 minutes, the registration button appeared. It was pretty quick after that.

Very slow response but actually a little better than last year for us. Just requires patience. Remember if your response is slow then it is slow for everyone and you are not loosing ground to others, just stick with it. We were registered by about 11:06.
