Last week at PNHS many teams altered their machines to avoid entanglement - Thanks.
However the same teams also violated the approved machines list.
Sewing machines were not on the list of approved machines that could be used to build your robot. Note: Some teams did not sew the fabric they used other fasteners.
Also noted is the fact that the robots must be 100% student made including the operation of the sewing machine ( it really is a precision machine) to sew fabric.
Jim Zontag, Justin Howard, Mr. McIntyre and myself decided to allow the sewed fabric - which was against the rules - because it would have disqualified 2/3 of the teams last week. Also we felt that most all schools have access to sewing machines.
PLEASE, PLEASE read the rules so we do not have to disqualify your team in any way.
