Ok, can somebody please point me in the right direction. I can’t find the exact height of the top post of the scoring grid. Can anybody help me find this? Thanks.
If you do a search here on CD, you will find a multitude of threads with that information. Or, you will find the information on the GDC Q&A forum:

Steve
Yeah, I’ve been through these documents. I still don’t see where it says what the height of the top post. Can somebody please give me a specific reference?
Might have to do some math to figure it out I believe we got 9 feet??? I don’t remember one of my teammates has it written down.
Yeah, I have absolutely no problem doing the math to figure it out, I just need the numbers to work with. I was thinking it was about 9 ft too, but I’m not 100% so I’m just trying to figure it out. I just don’t see the document that I’m supposed to be looking in.
On the one we built the highest post is 9’ 6" tall. But make sure to remember that the top row (and all the other rows) have the middle post 8" taller than the side posts
Does this mean that the 9’6" represents the middle top peg? Also, do you know where you got the documents to make that? Thanks for the help.
It’s in the rules (sorry I don’t have a link at the moment I have just been using the rules I have on my ipod if I needed to reference something)
Yes, I’m sure it is in the rules. I think I have even seen it somewhere on somebodies computer, but I just don’t know where it is, and that is what I would like to see.
ok it’s under the arena field scoring grid. It says 2.2.3 on my ipod, so I’m not sure if the rules would say the same, but that’s where I see it right now
Yes, I read this, but notice it doesn’t say anything about how high the pegs are.
Oh I see what you mean, but someone on our team found it so I’ll talk to them tomorrow and tell you unless someone else can tell you before them. Sorry

Go there and open the game specific drawings. The height of the center pole pegs (tallest) can be determined on pages 2-7 by using the the diagrams
It’s in the PDF <2011 Team Field Elements.pdf>
It might be in other, more official, places, but that was where I found it and could understand it.
I know the heights are listed in the field Drawings, but has any team done the math and have the final heights to post on this thread? It would be gladly appreciated.
When I did the math, I got about 9’ 6" but our field builders ended up making one that measure 9’4". The uncertainty comes from the pvc connectors, I would really like to know what the official measure is also.
The lowest peg is at 30" the pegs are spaced 37" apart. The center group is spaced 8" higher than the left and right, which puts the highest peg at 112"
These numbers are from my head, so there is a chance they are not correct, but I am pretty sure they are right.
Okay, I did the math using the game field elements pdf.
It is exactly 9’ 4.74" from the ground to the top of the middle pole; assuming there is no space between the middle pole assembly and the ground.
Where did you get the game field elements pdf?
On usfirst.org, find the game manual. Under the main document for section 3, you will find a link to the field drawings, of which this is one.
