Just posting this for no other reason than some of you might find this amusing. Thought I’d hold my iPhone to film in between the microphones to get an interesting shot and then…well see for yourself.
Hopfully this is the appropriate place to post this. 
Ahhhh I remember the days when I was the test dummy on my team, the shooter target, the stand in for a robot’s weight for lifting another robot on a ramp. Those were the days.
I even still have a photo of being the weight test for lifting a robot.
Tbh - don’t do things like that, my team was not the world’s safest team, and safety is actually really important.
Another mentor and i held a 2x4 with our feet while the robot slammed into it at full speed to try to find the source of a brown out or short. The students never felt better than when they managed to push us down on our butts with the force applied to the 2x4

My phone’s been the aiming point once or twice.
We did a ball pit shooting robot many years ago for fun.
The school was not amused when we used desks as robot guardrails at one point. I believe we now use scrap 4x4’s from the local lumberyard or something.
