Trouble getting Spark Max vendor to install

Our team recently switched from using Talons to using Spark Max motor controllers. We have been able to install the Spark Max client without any problems (that I know of), and have successfully configured the motor controllers. We however have run into trouble trying to install the revrobotics vendor library. When putting the link into the online installer nothing happens. When copying the files to the wpilib folder and attempting the offline install VS code just says “No new dependencies available”. We are running java using windows 10. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello AdamGrunwald,

I had the exact same issue. I fixed it by restarting VSCode and doing the steps again. I know it’s the standard way to fix a software problem, but it worked for me

Hope it helps!

Just tried that, and it doesn’t work for me. The online installer failing could be because my school likes to block a lot of stuff on their WiFi, so I could try installing when I get home. I don’t have a clue why the offline installer isn’t working though.

The location to extract the zip to changed between 2019 and 2020, can you confirm where you extracted the files to?

I just tried the online install at home and it worked.
