Not to down-play your accomplishment, but, it isn’t so much about the weight of the vehicle, it is about the rolling resistance. We used to pull pickup trucks with a robot driven only by two drill motors and without anyone standing on it. On level ground, it is actually fairly easy to make an automobile roll.
EDIT: I forgot the positive happy part of this post.
Pulling vehicles with robots is very fun! Every team should give it a try some time just for fun. And yes, I have seen a truck town robot in action (2003), and yes it was quite hard to push.
Nobody pushes Truck Town. Nobody!!!
Except 1305 ;-), kidding, but really, pretty sweet guys
I have to admit that’s awesome.
PS. We pushed you in waterloo
Now can your Mini Pickup Truck Cart pull the Jeep while your robot is loaded on its bed?
