Hello Everyone,
Tucson Tussle is an off-season event that will be held in Tucson, AZ on November 2nd! We are looking for volunteers in order to help make everything run smoothly. If you are interested in volunteering, please email: [email protected]
Here are the jobs that we need and a brief description about them.
Volunteer Positions
1 - Emcee: Introduces teams and makes the public excited.
1 - Announcer: Does a play-by-play of what is happening on the field.
1 - Head Referee: Make sure the teams are following the rules and keeps track of fouls. Helps other refs and makes the final call.
3 - Referee(s) (prior experience prefered): Make sure the teams are following the rules and keeps track of fouls.
1 - Scorekeeper (prior experience prefered): Keeps the score. This person needs to have a full understanding of the rules and how teams earn points. Works directly with the refs in case of any fouls.
2 - FTA (prior experience prefered): Field Tech Assistants - Helps the teams with any sort of communication issues they may be having.
1 - Pit Manager: Helps the teams with anything they may need help with.
1 - First Aid: We need someone who has a First Aid Certificate to
4 - Queuer(s): Helps get the teams on and off the field quickly.
4 - Field Reset: Helps reset the field after each match.
2 - Concessions: Sells concessions.
1 - Parking Police: Makes sure people park where they are supposed to.
1 - DJ: Plays Music.
3 - Photographer(s): Helps take photos
2 - Videographer: Helps take videos
2 - Team/ Volunteer Check-in: Checks volunteers and teams in. Gives out packets of information and makes sure all forms that we need are signed
1 - Shop Manager: Helps teams fix parts if something broke.
10 - Field Set-Up (6-10 pm on October 30, 31 & 12-6 on November 1): Helps set up field and pits.
10 - Tear Down (6-11 pm on November 2): Helps tear down field and pits. make sure everything is cleaned up.
