Unbridled Generosity.

One of the reasons I joined FIRST was for that team spirit that seems to be never ending, one team is in trouble and it a frenzy to try and help.
I had posted that the Britts were in Trouble and being 3000+ miles away are at a distinct disadvantage compared to the home teams.
I dont think it occured to any one that there are no Walmarts or Target stores in England and hence there are no Bins to be bought. Another disadvantage they have is they still have not received their kit of parts so they are many days behind other teams building period. (6 weeks is 6 weeks, or in their case 6 weeks is 5 weeks).
This is truely a great team to enter this competition with all it difficulties but an even greater team is Team “388” who heard our cry for help and just exploded with generosity, this is what FIRST is all about.
I was informed tonight that even though they have limited means they are sending not 1, not 2 but 10 bins air express. I know what it cost me to send 8 bins but 10 is way beyond the spirit of FIRST and sharing.
Kudoes to team 388 and THANK-YOU THANK-YOU THANK-YOU

Have you guys (and gals) recived the bins yet? I hope you have both them and your kit by now. BTW GOODLUCK

I have heard nothing as of yet but will keep you posted when they do, in fact I dont know if they have even received their kit yet!!!.
Who could build a bot in 4 1/2 weeks and still place 2nd in their first regional as a rookie team like they did last year… as Paul Revier said.>.>.>.>.>.> “The British are coming, The British are coming”!!!.
