Unique Designs

Lets share some of the unique designs that were seen so far.

Were there any crane robots?
Where there any other conveyor robots besides the one in Isreal?
How many #teamtether were there?
Others?

2028 in Palmetto (and attending VAR) is a conveyor robot.

There were two #teamtether bots at Dallas, 148 and 1296.

If possible be sure to add Team Numbers at a minimum.
Pictures and/or Video would be even better.

Or videos, I suppose.

246 has a unique robot design: 3-wheel swerve on deploying modules, a very flexible arm, and a great landfill mining mechanism is a combination of machine attributes I have not seen on any other robot. They won the creativity award at GSDE this weekend too, so congratulations to them!

4828 has a conveyor belt design we are excited to premiere at the North Carolina regional!

Gee I dunno, would this be unique?

Well… if we could see the picture…

Looks like we have similar sponsors with XCel.

There is a picture of our robot, just for clarification. And yes, we are excited to be attending the Virginia Regional again. The Week 1 event was rough, and we are excited to see the talented teams we know will be attending Richmond.

When I saw the first match where you guys lined up and built a stack with your arm my jaw dropped. Crazy robot!

Our robot has elements similar to a lot of other concepts but I haven’t yet seen anything else exactly like it (Deployed input ramp, sideways can arm, internal stacker on platform, etc). Here’s a video (Robot was running a bit weird because the gyro died again in this match): http://youtu.be/nr-I2IJhY8A

4488, Very Cool

Is there any focused on 3310 in action video available?

Thanks!

In the Dallas recording (http://new.livestream.com/accounts/6965108/events/3832663) at 04:07:30 you can watch a good match of them doing their thing.

Wow, yes 3310 seems very unique. Nicely done. I think I would consider that a “crane” type.

Keep them coming.

5407 has a really cool RC grabber that is made of huge cable carrier. They are on the red alliance here. It’s at 5:38:45 if the link doesn’t work.

Your robot is great, it is a very well executed design which I suspect will find it’s way to St. Louis. Well Done!

YES!

How does that thing even work?

IGUS cable chain used as an extension mechanism? Someone is either insane or very clever. Probably both.

Is there anyone with unique autonomous routines or systems??

Kinda disappointed by what I saw in week one… Seems like a lot of teams ignored autonomous this year.
