I do fundraising for the Brazil FRC Program.
We do not have our own US 501c3 foundation yet - this is my “by 3Q2017” goal.
Brazil places an enormous tax burden on donations received from US-based major and minor sponsors, when we send the donations to Brazil for the teams themselves to manage. Much more efficient/effective to pay our World’s bills direct from a US 501c3.
FIRST can receive donations, and can re-grant any donations received beyond event registration fees. But it can only re-grant to a US 501c3.
We have some sponsors on line for FRC 6404 Brazil travel costs to Houston. This team earned 2017 Rookie All-Star in W. Palm Beach Reg.
Are there any teams out there w/ 501c3 status willing to be either our pass-through, or receive donations and directly pay Houston-related bills for us?

We just want to get as many of our hard-working, deserving rookie kids to World’s as we can.
