Hey Brandon,
Bill Gold and I were just talking about how we check CD waaaay too much… (Yes folks… some of us are addicted).
We were both kind of curious how many times we actually check during the day. Is there any (semi-trivial) way you can make a counter to display user statistics? (A private one, I personally don’t want people know exactly how much time I waste on this absolutely wonderful site.)
I passed the semester with flying colors.
I just happen to be a procrastination king, and it was much, MUCH, MUCH easier to study without the temptation.
My GPA has made it through 3/4 of college FIRST and is still holding strong.
You’re right about basing it on IP address being easier but if you don’t have a static IP address or log on from different computers during the day it wouldn’t work.
I think my results would terrify me. Interesting idea though…IP address shouldn’t be too much of a problem…and you could check multiple IP addresses if you used them.
There is a hack I can install which will keep track of how much time you spend on the site. I’ll see how hard it is to install sometime this week, probably.
What I want to know is rankings based on number of posts a day (I know I’m number 30 for total posts; which is still pretty scarey considering I’ve been on for 6 months!). I’m currently averaging 6.11 posts a day, but what’s that mean? Surely somebody has a higher count then that!
Members ordered by post count. You are 29th on the list Astro!
And the archiver is not a member (but it does get rep points. ) It is a bot who archives posts. Joseph M and myself have a lot of actual posts right behind Brandon Martus.
