We are looking on how to use a AM-2619 Potentiometer, in the aspects of electronics and programming guidance in java. We have not been able to get the potentiometer to read properly.
What have you tried? Do you have a link to your (non-working) code?
Per the AM description of the AM-2619:
… the signal pin will have a voltage that varies from 0 to your input voltage depending on the rotation of the pot.
So if everything is wired correctly, you should be able to create an instance of the
AnalogInput class with the correct port and read it with
input.getVoltage(). Note that you’ll likely have to fit a function to determine the relationship between the real-world value (number of turns) and the voltage given to you by the sensor.
