My team has used a climbing mechanism involving two sets of arms, and this has been consistently useful in getting to Hab 2. At our first competition (Waterbury NE district), no one else had arms to climb- everyone used an elevator. Does anyone else have a similar pushing arms mechanism? If so, have bumpers posed a problem for you? We’ve decided to redesign our bumpers to work better in conjunction with our climb, and we’re looking for ideas.
Team Competed this last weekend in CHS Bethesda. In the 16 matches we played (12 + 4 elim) We attempted a climb in like 15 and were successful in 13 I think. The only issue we had was with our pistons in the back was binding (we think it was bent at some point).
