Hey CD! We just recover our set of Neo Vortex’s with Solo adapters, attempting to connect one to a sparkmax we get a sticky fault for the motor encoder, is the sparkmax firmware released for the new motor? We are running 24.0.1 and only have the option between neo brushless or brushed
Can you share a picture? It might help figure out where the problem is, if it’s a wiring issue!

This seems to be an issue many of us are having. I’ve seen another post experiencing the same problem. The SparkMAX was showing a Sensor Fault while connected to the Vortex. After substituting encoder wires, Sparks, and Vortexes, we found that the connection between the Vortex and Adapter (we used a Solo Adapter) must have experienced a misconnection. In the post I’ve read, they were using a SparkFlex instead of the Solo adapter. We figured that if they were experiencing the same problem as us, it must be universal among the Flex and the Solo. We could not find the exact misconnection, so we just switched the Vortex and the Adapter after testing different Vortex/Adapter and Spark combos.
