Depending on the gear ratio, you could probably get away with a CIM. Or you could rest one of the wheels on the ground, drive forward, and pop the clutch.
Announcer: “I need a few volunteers from the audience to push start this machine. Anyone willing? Anyone?”
Inspector: *with puzzled/ frightened face “sooo, you are telling me that you removed the muffler, and drilled holes in the block… for lightness? And you expect the audience to push start it every time that it’s on the field?”
Me: “Yes”
So we were able to find one of these V8 pitching machines at the local junk yard. We did make use of the seat motor voucher. We removed the old V8 500hp high output engine and figured with a couple of modifications we are able to run this unit with the new BBgear box. The BBv8-6-550 1:4000 ratio takes (6) 550BB motors to one 2" shaft output. We ordered one right away, it should be here in two days. They still have a few instock but they are likely to be out of stock quickly when this secret hits the streets. Just wondering if anyone else was able to get another one at their local junk yard?
Our total weight is still 40lbs under the allowable 1200lbs. so we should be great!

“These wheels… Need a bit more guarding on them… A lotta bit… -looks to weight limit on scale- We are gonna need a bigger scale…”
Wow… That’s the fastest turnaround time i have seen from BaneBots in years
And maybe… Just maybe we can somehow add that extra 0 to R03 to make it official…
derp no combustable are allowed in the robot
On it’s own (aka vacume) diesel is not combustible
Looks totally legit to me.
Been there… done that. Broke the backboard.
We are now redeeming the BaneBot coupon for a 12v motor.
Has someone Q&A’d about this? Something tells me a sound limit might be implemented if this is legal ::rtm::
/joke
Friday’s Team Update makes this illegal. Sorry Guys.
Nice, whats the projectile range on that thing? Four, maybe five… miles?
