Team 6800 Valor is excited to announce its 3rd CAD competition: The Valor CAD Challenge (VCC).
VCC is a 5-day FTC-oriented CAD challenge in which participants can compete individually or in teams of 2 or 3 to design the best possible robot for an FTC-style game. VCC is open to FTC & FRC students alike. Teams will work to create a complete CAD model of a robot, as well as create a press release to document robot and game strategy, the design process, as well as provide insight about individual robot mechanisms.
VCC signups are now available and will be open until 6/25 at 11:59 PM CST, with the event kickoff and game reveal following on 6/27 at 9:00 AM CST. The game manual will be included in this thread upon game reveal, as well as be posted on the VCC discord server. All CAD submissions can be done in any CAD software, but more information regarding submission rules and regulations is to come. Submissions will be due 7/1 at 11:59 PM CST, but late submissions will still be accepted, only receiving slight penalty points in the judging process. Team 6800 Valor will be hosting an award ceremony on 7/6 (TBD), where all submitted teams will hear about their scores and valuable insights from our judging panel.

Our mission is to simulate the engineering design process associated with a real FTC game and provide a fast-paced, hands-on learning experience to strengthen CAD skills for the FIRST community.
