Suggestion on 5:

“Foul Points” doesn’t have quite the same ring as “golden rings”…

but “Tech Foul calls” does.

(And, uh, record company 4 says release it, but only if you can convince Weird Al to sing on it.)

Nice, it does have a better ‘ring’. As mentioned it was hastily written and I can see a lot of opportunity in it. A bit like the first iteration of our robots!

Some friends and I did our own versions of 12 Days of Die Hard a few years back. Cannot post full lyrics, but a highlight was “Two Agents Johnson”.

On field, in the past: 4, 4, 1.

There WERE a 5th for each ref and scorer spot, off the field somewhere. (Assuming the VC assigned all of them.) But they wouldn’t be waving. :wink:

For those bothered by the nine refs, do consider that the song was intended to build tension throughout. Also note that we are not yet at competition, simply days from kickoff. Think of the nine refs as the stuff of nightmares where, in your minds eye, you picture nine refs, three each from competitions past, present and future, all standing together at the side of the field, frantically waving their flags and pointing at your robot for some heinous infraction.
