Is there a time when a robot can extend above the 48" height starting orientation? The way I have read SG2 is that the robot can never extend above the 48" starting orientation, I am confused on how the robots could reach the elevation bar 72" above the ground.
The rule reference is not for FRC: OCCRA is a different game and different rules. (And for reference, the FRC rule is G106, which indicates that FRC is taller than OCCRA this time around.)
@MechHead, the FRC answer to your question would be “use a shorter bar to climb up to the taller bar”. But, I’m unfamiliar with the OCCRA game so I don’t know if that’s legal or not.
Ah woops, thanks for correcting me
Just to confirm this is still a valid question for the OCCRA game design committee.
Teams, Thank you for bring this to our attention. This height restriction limit in is an error. The Extension Height Limit for 2022 is 92" Maximum Extension, which will allow for easy reach to the Elevation Bars. This update was missed in the document edit review. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We will publish an update V2.0 to the 2022 OCCRA High Rise Manual issued later today which will include this correction to SG2 and a few other minor corrections and clarifications.

Thank you for the update.
I see page 24 SG27 has been changed. Page 38 R57 needs to be updated as well, please.
Also, how can we view the Appendix PDFs? Thank you.
