VEXpro Rewards

The team here at VEX is excited to announce the launch of VEXpro Rewards. This is a new way to help give back to the FRC community while helping teams save money at the same time.

To sign up for VEXpro Rewards, you’ll need to register your account on the VEX website (link above) as an FRC account. This process may take a day or two, so you’ll want to jump on this now so you can take advantage of the savings starting next week.

There are three parts to VEXpro Rewards:

$50 Store Credit
After an account for your team has been verified, you’ll be sent a coupon code for up to $50 off any order. There is a limit of one coupon per FRC team.

Free Shipping Mondays
We know shipping is a huge expense teams occur over the course of an FRC season. VEXpro Rewards members will receive free ground shipping on all orders placed on Mondays from 1/24 through 4/25.

Flash Sales
VEXpro Rewards members will have access to Flash Sales each Wednesday. To help your team plan out purchases, here’s a list of Flash Sales through February:

  • 1/26 - 10% off Drivetrain Gearboxes (Ball Shifters, WCP SS, WCP DS, etc.)
  • 2/2 - 10% off VersaPlanetary and VersaPlanetary Accessories
  • 2/9 - 10% off all VEXpro gears
  • 2/16 - 10% off shaft stock, VersaFrame tubing, VersaFrame gussets
  • 2/23 - 10% off all Flex Wheels

Next month we’ll update the calendar with March’s deals so that teams can continue to plan ahead. We’ll be continuing to expand VEXpro Rewards in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned for more announcements.

Lastly, we know that costs are going up everywhere. We hear you. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been doing an analysis to figure out where we can lower prices within the VEXpro product line so we can help offset the cost of products we had to increase prices on.

As of a few minutes ago, we have lowered our prices on over 80 basic items every team needs and uses, like bearings, shaft collars, spacers, pinions, Flex Wheels, etc.

Just so I’m clear, can you only have 1 team account, or can you have multiple accounts registered to a team but you only get one discount? We currently have several mentors who handle parts ordering under our own accounts, and I’m trying to figure out if we need to create a new team account.

You can have as many accounts per team as you want signed up for free shipping and Flash Sales, but each team will only receive one $50 coupon code.

What time zone is Monday defined by? We often place orders pretty late but we can adjust to whatever time Monday ends for Vex.

Good question! It depends on which store you’re ordering from.

USA = CST
Canada = EST
Australia = ACDT
UK = GMT

One more thing to note, there is a shipping cutoff for each warehouse. If your order is placed after the shipping cutoff, it’ll still be free, but the order won’t ship until Tuesday. Those cutoffs are:

USA = 3pm CST
Canada = 3pm EST
UK = 3pm GMT

Not really, but they have ships that can float :wink:

Really, VEX/IFI just has warehouses in these countries that can fulfill orders.

Two things:

(1) Awesome! Loving this.
(2)(a) Does this work for teams purchasing through purchase orders? Or just credit/debit cards?
(2)(b) If (a) is yes, then can I make a Quote on Thursday, get my PO approved Friday, then send you the PO with quote on a Monday to count for Free Shipping?

Yes, PO’s will be accepted.

As for your second question, you would of course see a shipping rate on your quote if you were to create it on a Thursday. You may need to add and remove an item from your quote / cart to get the shipping to apply correctly when placing the order the following Monday.

If you run into any issues, just give our customer service team a call, and they’ll be happy to assist.

Has anyone been successful at signing up for this? I got to the screen where it says to click the link in the email we just sent, but I never got said email (and yes I checked my spam folder). I thought that might be the wait 1-2 day part, but I signed up last week shortly after this was posted.

I received an email with our link on Friday.

Received our voucher and used it promptly on Monday…Sadly no free shipping though. Needed the parts and ordered anyway, will have to follow up with VEX when I get a chance to see what the deal is or what I missed to make it happen.
