Vex's Bevel Gear question

Hi, I am planning on using a miter gear @ 90 degrees to mainly get my BB-8 axle rod spinning forward with my system. How durable and efficient is this miter gear. I am hoping to get my BB-8 rolling @ 1-2mph, so would this be enough?

This bevel gear, used properly, can easily manage much greater loads at much faster speeds. Many teams use them in their drivetrains (swerve drive.)
