Team 992 is looking for any video (or audio) recording of the 1st day award ceremony from the LA regional. A digital copy would be preferred, but we would be willing to send a SASE and VHS tape if necessary. Thanks in advance!
So would Team 64! If anyone has any, please let me know.
Were getting desperate here. Anything, an archive of the webcast, a tape recording, an overheard cellphone conversation, or even a transcript, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again in advance.
thanks, but we’re looking for the first day.
Come on, someone here must have something! We don’t want to have to wait until 2003 for NASA to put up the archived webcast! Please help us!
Sorry to keep bringing this up, but we are getting desperate. Our school needs the judges’ comments on our team presented before we won our Xerox award for our school paper, and the deadline is soon. We will provide a tape, candy, our eternal gratitude, etc. (what ever you want!). Someone out there must’ve taped it!

Have you tried contacting FIRST?
Next year maybe your team can lead a SOAP video recording effort in LA? If you’re going to EPCOT, stop by team 108’s pit and talk with the team. We do have KSC and MMR awards…just haven’t posted them yet as they need a little tweaking.

Due to the fact that Team 992 is in debt we will not be making the trip to nationals. We had hoped that we could’ve raised the money needed but it was not feasible this year. We hope to get sponsors next year and get the NASA grant so that we can go to nationals. Anyways, good luck to all teams competing in Nationals.
Thanks for the suggestion about contacting FIRST. After doing some digging, they were able to find a copy of the announcer’s script for us.
