Does anyone have digitized video of that absolutely outstanding performance of the American National Anthem on Friday? I’d love to download a copy.

I’d love to get a copy of this, even if it is just the sound file. I’d love to show it to my friends and band director (who is a big trumpet player.) That was just plain awesome to hear.
Anyone have anything yet? I noticed that soap108 doesn’t have anything up from “Championship Event” yet, only the 4 divisions.

A bassoonist play the national anthem at Nationals?!!? YEAH!!! Oh man that would be SO kool!!!
Seriously, that performance gave me goose bumps…
And it’s not just great for trumpet players, but for all musicians. I mean, everyone knows how hard it is to get that high!!

Yes the same guy as in Pheonix. Im glad I can still hear!!!
Finally, I found a member of my team that recorded it with his camcorder. So I promptly digitized it, cut out the video, and created an aiff file of the anthem. The sound quality isn’t the best, but it’s far better than nothing. I have it posted on my iDisk: My iDisk
