Hope you guys/girls like it!
Oh, and you can probably tell that our team is like…all females, who will dominate. :ahh:
P.S. The song does a bit of an “uh oh” and says a bad word that’s four letters and starts with “S”,
my apologies, but I don’t have an un-vulgar (?) version. Apologies.
I noticed your CRio is mounted on its side, our team and a few others that ive seen put it so the blades are pointing upwards because we didn’t want them to pop out during collisions. have you girls bump tested to make sure that they’ll stay in under stress? just a suggestion, wouldn’t want one of those to pop out in competition. other than that it looks great.
Very nice! Is the conveyor system itself used as the method of scoring? I considered doing this for a long time but debated whether or not it was the best scoring strategy.
I actually didn’t think of that, but we kinda sorta tested it in away. But, we’ll be sure to do a true test.
Our kinda-sorta test, was our driver getting used to working with it, and running, smack-dab into the lockers…with no bumpers on the robot. So, yeah, it’s been tested all right (kinda-sorta). lol.
Yep, it is. The conveyor and the cough top part cough help to score.
We should if all lined up perfectly be able to fight 8 cells in it, which was pretty good for us.
The conveyor wouldn’t be that good of a scoring device though (for this robot), if only one set speed was used. You can’t see in our vid too well, but the take in speed is different from the shoot out speed.
Thanks! And yea, we do a lot of practicing with it.
HELLOOOooo from the North East
This looks like a job well done so far, Keep up the pace don’t stop now. Very nice vid. music , both go very nicely together. I LOVE the set up , May we at TJ2 Team 88 wish you good luck in 2009 hope to seeeeee yaaaaaa in GA. :yikes:
MOE and TEAM 88 TJ2 Tye dye for ever oh yeah ??? OH YEAH !!!
Are you talking about on the Digital Sidecar as shown here??
Edit: Nevermind, I thought you meant that. HA!
Doubt you can even see that on the vid.
Anywho… as far as I know, the (Orange) Signal Light is supposed to stay on at all times as an indicator that the robot is operational.
In Autonomous, it may turn off, I’m not 100% sure, but if you’re in Teleop, & it’s blinking, you may want to check that out.
Check for loose wiring.
See my edited response above. I’m not an expert on the electrical portion, but the intent of that light when it was released into the KOP a few years back was to let the field staff know if there is a problem with the robot at one time, and since it’s still required, I have to assume it’s required for the same reason.
