So I’ve been coding in VS Code just fine up until now. I preformed a restart when VS Code was still working and when I logged back in VS Code refused to open. So I restarted again and got the same result. I re-ran the installer and it said it completed just fine, but it still refused to work. I have no idea what to do and nothing related to VS Code works.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
So no real resolution but it just decided to work again…
literally no clue but it’s working now soooooo hopefully it stays this way
Our team has recently been having the same problem. On 2019 FRC control systems, there are some “known issues” and that is one of them.
- There are reports that on some builds of Windows 10 (build 1809), VSCode may fail to launch if no network is present (note: this is different than no internet present).
Therefore, you have to be connected to a network for it to launch. Our team has had no further problems so far after doing so. Here is the link if you’d like to have a look yourself.
