We are having a strange issue with VS Code that I have not seen in past years. With increasing frequency, the CPU utilization for VS Code will jump to 60-80%, and most “live update” features in the editor stop working: color-coding text, error red-lining, automated completion and suggestions, and mouse-over info.
For example, we will correct an error, but it will keep the red mark. However, we can compile with no errors.
Restarting VS Code fixes the issue, but it inevitably comes back. The only additional extension we have is Github, but otherwise it is a standard WPILIB install with Rev and NavX verdordeps installed.
Any suggestions on how to fix?
