Water Game Played

Code Red (2771), Team C.H.A.O.S. (74) and M.A.R.S. Rovers (4004) successfully played the long anticipated water game this Saturday. I know some of you will say that the water was frozen, but it was water nevertheless and we had fun. The object of this game was to shoot as many t-shirts as possible into the crowd at the Griffins hockey game. The Grand Rapids Griffins are a feeder team for the Detroit Red Wings and we were grateful for letting us come on the ice to do a little PR work for FIRST Robotics. Thanks for inviting us, Code Red.

Here is a teaser video … more video and pics to come soon.

Ooh, this should really be considered as a viable gameplay surface for future years. Not considering the implications of setting up a venue to house such a field.

There wasn’t much love for a surface like this in 2009

Looks like your teams had a great time getting the word out!

That’s really cool! good job spreading the word of FIRST.
