We are trying to limit the joystick acceleration but we keep getting errors

As some background, joysticks don’t have a concept of acceleration. They simply return values that you use in code.

I’m not seeing where in your code you’re doing anything with the joystick values besides sending them to the drive motors. Can you point to where the code is you’re having trouble with?
