The source for our green and black striped bandannas (see attached picture) no longer carries this pattern. We haven’t been able to find them elsewhere either. Since the CD community seems to be everywhere, I thought someone out there could help. Has anyone seen these - or anything similar - available?
P.S. And I’m not sure what this student was actually doing when this picture was taken. It looks like it was taken at Atlanta in 2006. But it does show the scarf.
Carol, was that design referred to as a tiger print, or a zebra print??
I’m afraid I don’t know my animal patterns as well as I thought I did, especially with the funky punk-esque color scheme you have going on there. lol
And if that doesn’t work out, may I suggest just buying regular black & white designs & putting them through the tye-dye process (minus the tye of course)
I’m sure TJ^2 (Team 88) could share some tips on how to deal with dying fabric.
We haven’t called yet to see if they are available, but it looks promising. (It’s a craft supply site and has all kinds of craft stuff, from doll hair to canvas.
Oh!!! BAN-D-ANAS !!! The first three times I read the title to this thread, I thought it said “bananas” I couldn’t figure out why you didn’t just go down to the grocery store.
Could this be the game hint? (It is getting close.) Let’s see, bananas-bandanas, one can be gotten at a grocery store, the other cannot. (usually) One is yellow, one is green. One used to be green, the other still is. That’s it!! The game piece is a color changing banana! Or maybe the green light changes color to yellow this year…
