We got great news

Before Phoenix regional school district and teachers resolved their yearlong dispute. After school programs had disappeared during that time.

After Phoenix, we got three bites on possible Lego Leagues.

After LA Regional there were rumors we’d lose our facility.

Instead we learned from the principal that we were a priority  , that the school auto shop we use, and share with school maintenance/storage/trucks would be remodeled into 2/3 Construction Technology and 1/3 robotics. We wouldn’t have the facility over the summer - a little bummer cuz we were planning to do team fundraising by doing summer workshops and we were having trouble finding a facility.

Last week tho school district technology director emailed me they didn’t have money or space. heart fell I sadly asked, “We have to find a new place to work in?”

She quickly reassured me that we would have the auto shop as we had in the past year whew

Then watching championships from our school’s tech center yesterday, we got more great news…

Maintenance is being moved to another area, she wants a floorplan from us, cuz the entire auto shop is going to be remodeled for…

US!!!

SCRRF - full size practice field year round !

 Lego League, better start buying Cambells soup. Also, I think there is a floorplan that I made on Leroy’s laptop in August.

A question though, what would we do when the autoshop would be remodeled?

The floorplan has to be redone cuz the entire facility is ours now, not only 1/3,

and since Construction Technology isn’t going in, and maintenance is moving out, I understood we’d be able to work while they’re remodeling.

I thought you were gone yesterday - did you watch the webcast?

I was gone, I taped the competitions, and I did the floorplan for all of the autoshop I think.

That’s great news Cheryl,
Too bad you have to ride the roller coaster to get there. Up, down, up, down! Hope you are on the straight and narrow path, now. Good Luck in the future.
