I’m part of team 6036, a small community-based team working out of a garage in our neighborhood. Our team was notified very recently that we qualified for the world championships in Houston. After hours of work these past months, we’re extremely excited. The seniors on the team had been talking before and during build season about wanting to be able to advance to world champs this year, and we’re blessed to be given this opportunity to go to Houston. However, we need support to make this dream come true, and so we’ve started a Gofundme page to try and raise some money to help improve our financial situation in the wake of this last-minute notification.
