Please post any new links, clarifications, updates and/or corrections in Wiki or in thread. A new weekly webcast list will be posted typically Monday or Tuesday and build to most complete list by end of the week as we go…. Thanks everyone, Happy Scouting!
Thread Note: During the actual events this is a good place to post any issues or comments on the webcast itself, many view this thread during the events that may be at the events. Hopefully, the live feedback here helps to mitigate any webcast issues there as they occur.

For PNW Events, im not sure what road cases are going to which events, so they might be switched? Im fairly sure the blue case is the one that stays within wWA though.

It’s good to see that FRC webcasting has been growing up since I started this thread in 2014 because back then there was no cohesive solution for scouts to watch games. There was no principal place to go for live webcasts. In 2022, that has changed thanks to the challenging work and efforts of the First Webcast Unit. TBA has been great at collecting webcasts and even NASARobotics has had in the past lists of webcasts. Old site NASA Robotics - Archives : Webcasts and New site https://robotics.nasa.gov/

We all know Twitch & firstinspires channels , they now have 31 channels! Most events use two each (Program/Quad View) . This brings consistency in viewing and is much appreciated.

Just wanted to point out the splendid work being done to bring consistency to webcasts in 2022.

FIRST’s webcast guide has all of theirs there: https://frc.watch,
and most others should be on TBA (check here: Webcasts - The Blue Alliance)

if it’s not on FIRST’s side, submit it to TBA really quick with the “add webcast” button on the above linked page and a TBA Mod will approve it when they can (or ping me quickly and I can grab it up to Friday night; events are fun!)

FIRSTWA officially listed their streams. Putting them here for visibility:

Clackams:

Main: https://twitch.tv/firstinspires28
Wide: https://twitch.tv/firstwa_red2

GPK:

Main: https://twitch.tv/firstinspires29
Wide: https://twitch.tv/firstwa_blue2

Seems like red/blue1 are all but dead.

Humber College Event will not be on WatchFirstNow.
Likely you can find it on Twitch or Twitch
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can confirm that this is correct.

Corrected Izmir Turkey stream , Live now

Are there any livecast that’s not on Twitch? We’d like to stream it at the school today.

Disappointed with the Glacier Peak match videos. As mentioned elsewhere, the “action shots” are almost always worse than what the full field view offers

another reminder that the wide view exists.

That said, i do not understand the camera placement that they have set up for this weekend. Hoping to see it better optimized in future weeks.

I think most webcasts this year are ok, however there are still some that try to do way to much with a single screen. I got up early just to try to scout a team in the Izmir regional and both the visual aspect the scouting aspect are horrible.

This is horrible for the viewer and scouts alike, Please stop with the fancy screens , cuts and the like and give a basic FULL FIELD view…this is not Hollywood

What are some casting folks thinking?

The only close up needed is of the Hangs. Some get that right with a camera directly focused on the hang. Lets take some of this feedback and improve Week 2 viewing.

This game is chaotic enough, we don’t need chaotic camera work on top of it.

İzmir had two streams  One was a multi-view, and one was a stable field view.

Sorry, my bad I only found one for this thread. Please add streams as you find them

The stable view was not always the best either since the view looked like this:

Which I get people standing and cheering for their teams but the static webcast should not be a shot from an angle where that can happen
