So I’ve have this script that predicts the winner’s of the Chairman’s award at any FRC event. It’s purely based off of recent award history and the “wins” or “losses” the team has gotten when competing for the award. The script’s not perfect, but it had around 80% accuracy when running it internally last season. I won’t clutter up the post the full rankings unless someone asks for them (it gives a top 5-20 for the event), just the predicted top 1-2 (in order).

Note that district teams can no longer win Culture Changing Awards at regionals, and district teams can’t win Culture Changing Awards at inter-district events.
Just a heads up, but District teams that are competing at regionals won’t be eligible for Chairman’s this year. Also district teams visiting other districts. I got caught on that too!
Edit: I suppose I should be honored that I was only a few seconds behind Ryan Hall…
I knew something had slipped my mind when updating for 2017! Removed the teams that aren’t eligible, next week’s update will have the script filtering them out properly.
