Week 2 events, which ones will you be watching?

To continue on the tread from last week about week 1 I am creating the same thing for week 2.

I will be going to St. Joe (FIM) this weekend for fun as well as keeping an eye on milford and humber college. What teams and events are you excited to watch in week 2?

FIM Jackson (I don’t really have a choice)

Humber (I will be volunteering there) and bits of Georgian when they do not over lap.

Midwest is extremely stacked this year - 111, 930, 1732, 1756, 2451, 3197, and a lot more. My team is also competing there but it’s still a must-watch even if you aren’t going.

I will be watching all of the Week 1 events I didn’t get to see, as we were competing.

The LA Regional, FiM Milford District, FiM St. Joseph District, CHS Bethesda District, ONT Humber College District, and FiT Plano District are all ones I’m hoping to keep an eye on this week.

FiM Milford for sure. Not because it’s the most stacked event, I’m just a fan of a lot of the teams.

Bloomington - from the driver’s station. It’s going to be a great event! Team list is pretty stacked.

FIM St. Joseph. Don’t really have a choice cause we are competing…

DECC regionals and Midwest, since we’ll be competing with a few of those teams later on in the season.

My current team, 177, will be competing at our usual Waterbury district event in CT. I will be keeping a close eye on the Mt. Olive event in NJ as my former team, 11&193, hosts and competes in that event.

125 (also run by an 11 alum) will be there as well. It will hopefully make for a competitive weekend. These are my top teams to watch for Mt. Olive, in numerical order:

11, 125, 193, 219, 222, 223, 303? (have heard its a rebuilding year), 1257 (robot looks promising but I haven’t seen it run), 1676 (looks promising, haven’t seen it run), 5992 (solid second round robot consistently), that’s really all I know from this team list.

I’ll probably spend the week catching up on LAN and Clackamas, then rewatch our match videos from GPK and prep to compete at AMV this weekend.

Good luck teams!

Probably (arguably) one of the most competitive district events of the year, obviously besides waterloo. Can’t wait to see how this one plays out.
