Team 151 in conjunction with US FIRST will be holding a scrimmage on the 2011 playing field [with all the 2011 game bells and whistles] on Saturday, Feb. 18th, 2011 in our HS’s gym. Come finish your robot at our school [shops will be open all day Saturday] and play the actual 2011 game. What better way to practice for the real competitions. FIRST technical staff will be there debugging the game and field.
Please find a registration form with details attached to this post. Cost is $250 to register your team. You can even finish your robot over this weekend in our building and ship from our loading dock on Tuesday if you’d like.
We are also holding a robot unveiling in our auditorium on Friday evening from 6 to 8+. Anyone coming on Saturday is welcome to join us Friday evening as well. You can arrive anytime after 2pm. But if you come that early beware; we may put you to work assembling the playing field.
All events this weekend will live streamed over the internet for your viewing pleasure.
For more info contact me at [email protected] (I will email a registration form if you request one or go to the OCCRA thread where one is posted)
Hope to see you there.
Space is limited so do register quickly. We can only accomodate about 40 teams.
Graciuosly and professionally - this will be one great time. Hope to see you all there.

If you set up on the gym floor, you need to protect the floor from robots burning through the carpet.
What do you mean beware of arriving early? There’s nothing better than knowing you helped build the field all the robots get to play on.
