Week Zero Warmup --CRESCENDO! Scrimmage Event (Oswego IL)

Good Afternoon Teams,
We hope you are all having a strong start to the 2024 season and your teams are making great progress. We are happy to announce that on 2/24/24 we will once again be hosting our Week 0 Warm-up (Formally Called Extravaganza) which is a free event hosted by 2338 Gear It Forward in Oswego, IL. This event is open to all FRC teams and will provide an opportunity to practice with your bot on a full size field with half field elements. This scrimmage will also provide opportunities for teams to collaborate, drive on the field with other teams, and also work with 2338 alumni and mentors to help with any questions or challenges that arise or you have experienced. Please know that your robot does not need to be competition ready! We will have a Robot Inspector to go through their checklist and make sure you are ready to pass inspection at your first event. If you have interest in attending please contact me ASAP!!!

At W0W we will host an Illinois Women in STEM event at 1:00, and want to invite female identifying students to attend even if their team does not.

There will be a Pneumatics Presentation given by Bob Pashos, Automation Applications Engineer, Parker Hannifin Corporation. He will speak about careers in pneumatics.

There will be 2 scouting workshops where you are able to learn about Team 2338’s scouting system and app!

While this event is free it also serves as an important fundraiser for our program so we ask that teams avoid bringing in outside food and utilize our concessions and share with families who may attend that there will be raffles and other similar fundraising activities.

Below you will see our flier, photo of our field elements (almost done), and link to sign up your team. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me,
