Hosted an FTC event this weekend - of my three teams:
11 of our team members were selected for the All-State Band or Orchestra (each are about 200 members from all across the state). Given that there are about 400 school districts, I think it’s a pretty fair guess we’re the most represented FIRST team there.
It finally snowed this year. For someone like me who loves winter I can say it is a pretty big win.
Also getting trapped at school due to heavy snow gave me the opportunity to mentor the ftc team.
I just called up Connor after not speaking to him for six months and told him the truth about what’s been going on with me lately, and he accepted it and we planned to meet up over the holidays. So just a little emotional right now, in a happy way.
Sharing my grandmother’s win as she received her associate’s degree this weekend, based on coursework she began more than 50 years ago. Congrats, Gram!

Bit late to the party but despite being in FTC our lead mentor has suggested I may be allowed onto the advanced FRC team made up of middle schoolers.
