323 competes for the first time since 2019 next week… that’s horrifying. Otherwise, had a productive week at work. I guess that’s a win.

But FRC is competing as well!!!
I guess we as a team are excited about perhaps making an OP niche bit, the question now is will the emerging meta support it.

Oh, I’m mostly terrified about FRC. My other half is the bigger F1 fan. I just happened to know that it started this weekend too.

Rough week at work, but I think things will turn around soon
Good things for the team. We got our base back from welding. Each corner can be removed and replaced in a modular fashion with clips.
but then we discovered some tolerance issues on our clips. Great training time for some of the newbies on the Bridgeport
Our shooter is also doing well on the bench, gets mounted tomorrow after the base corners are finished. This is flatter then it will be when mounted, but this shot across the room (20+ feet) at about 40% speed
Edit: Bonus win we got all corners fully attached today

Got 3rd in the district PTA reflections, advancing to states!
Got the trailer packed, and the lights all still worked, so much room!
Got my new glasses frames after the old ones lost a stem and some welds broke after normal work. Don’t buy Nike kids.

My win:
Several months ago, my team switched out of a Week 1 Event into a Week 2 as soon as it opened up. Gaining 8 days is looking crucial, I’m so glad we weren’t competing today.
Bonus:
We got a 12 second 5-Note Auton working tonight (mostly). That would not have happened if we were still going to a Week 1.

Our robot held together just enough that it could be repaired between matches and we got our first ever Blue Banner an hour ago and we were the alliance (3) captain. So exciting - we played the maximum number of matches possible at this event. Got lots of practice for later this week’s event.

Weekly win - FRC4607 didn’t compete Week one. And we won’t be competing week 2.

So 2023 Port Hueneme had the “5 finals matches incident”, 2024 was the “replay of a replay”, what’s 2025 going to be? replay of the whole tournament?
