My win is simple. I’m on vacation a ways west. This morning was kayaking in the bay.

This past week my team competed at TRI and made it to the semi-finals we brought 3 robots so it was a lot to manage but everyone had a ton of fun.

The team was able to change the method of raising the intake arm on their Everybot from a chain driven crank arm that was failing frequently to a winch mechanism. Most of them just joined the team and most had no experience working with power tools. Including the time to do some rudimentary calculations relating to the winch design, it only took them about 2 hours in one evening to get it working. There are a few refinements such as adding a pulley and some limit switches.

My daughter is home and recovering from her surgeries. That’s a big win for her, but also a win for concerned parents.

Got a job dropped in my lap yesterday, got it tossed down the line today.
And found out that a rather nasty bike issue is in fact covered by warranty, so I just have to wait a bit.
