What about this upcoming writers' strike?

Student on team #237, Sie-H2O-Bots, from Watertown High School and Eastern Awning Systems & The Siemon Company.

Hollywood’s TV writers are ready to strike…and if so, the Screen Actors Guild will probably follow suit by July. Thus, there are predictions flying around of many more summer reruns; and next season, that for networks to make themselves strike-proof, to employ many new reality shows.

The following article is from MSNBC.com. Ok, so the article is rather satirical, but what do you think? Can we use this to our advantage?

I tend to think Big Brother 2 would be better. Lock everyone into a machine shop for 6 weeks and once a week the most non-productive person is told they can’t go to nationals :wink:

Nice work on getting all the addresses of those folks. That is a good place to start. Everyone should start writing.
As to the strike, one should not believe all they read, especially on the sites THEY control. (i.e. msNBC) When strikes are imminent all kinds of trash is intentionally floated out there to confuse the situation and hopefully the folks at the table.

does that article suggest that all tv will become ‘reality tv’??? good god i hope not…maybe i should just not watch tv anymore (possible?)…maybe chris hussman has the right idea after all: not owning a tv
all reality tv? there should be like laws or something against that…just picturing such a world scares me to the point of insanity, or rather past said point of insanity
mike whos gonna have to figure out how to fix his tv if this all reality tv stuff is true…cuz hell definately end up breaking his set
