What are the rules about going into your opoments community?

Are you able to attack your opoments zone and steal cubes or cones from it?

You can push cubes and cones around. You cannot “attack” opponents or do any contact w/ the loading zone and charge station. This may be wrong though, so you may want to check.

I was wondering the same thing. I can’t find anything preventing it specifically in the game manual, but I could be wrong.

I suggest you read G405 in the manual

As far as cubes and cones that are not yet scored but are in the community, those are not protected but you need to be very cautious of violating G207.

Based on those two rules, you

  1. Cannot descore game pieces the opposing alliance has scored, and
  2. Can take unscored pieces from the opposing alliance’s community, but need to be very concerned about touching a robot from the opposing alliance while doing so.

Also consider G108

So if you plan to try to take pieces from the opponent’s community, you need to do so without going outside your frame perimeter.

I thought this was interesting. In this situation, both robots get offsetting fouls. This should help avoid the inevitable arguments over who-hit-who, at least in some cases.
