I was wondering what everyone’s official Team Colors are. Some Teams Colors are recognizable on every part of the team; ie: robot, shirts, banners, and such like CD’s Orange and Black or Buzz’s Yellow and Black and TJ’s Tye Dye!
What are your team colors?
Also do you keep the same colors every year or change them??
We wouldn’t want to be accused of “clashing” now would we??? Hmmmm?
Ours are either black and red, just red, or something else with black and red. Looking at our robot wont help, we use lots of lexan and clear plastic sheeting. Oh yeah, we also have lots of open areas. We change shirts every 1-2 years so we might have our cool black shirt with fire at the top. (Doesnt stand out as much as MOE’s, but it looks cool)
Hmm, well it really surprises me that no one else yet is Blue and Gold… it seems to be really popular throughout a lot of schools, but I guess not too many FIRST teams have Blue and Gold.
And yes, you can definitely tell from our shirts, hats, robot, buttons, CDs, etc
ummm yeah, moe is lime green (the color is actually called ‘sublime green’) and black. its on shirts, robots, shoes, earplugs, sticks, pants, hair, hats, pit work areas, and computers.
Our colors are blue and yellow. Our colors are definately visible in our shirts and other spirit stuff. Chuck is plastered in our logo, so I guess you would say our robot has our team colors. Moose, has a flag on each front corner, one yellow and one blue. We have had the same colors for the past 4 of the 6 years we’ve been a team. I would suggest to anyone who is considering changing anything about their team to deeply consider it. Once people begin to know who you are, you are better off leaving everything the way it is. We had an experience with this: In 1999 we were well known for our cheering of “Up CHUCK”, and this year, when we brought it back, people said “Hey! We remember you guys, we haven’t heard from you in a couple of years.”
Our official colors are forest green gold and black. However, our sponsor forces white and Columbia or baby blue on us so that we seem like spokes people.
