My question is what do you think first will do about cancelled events such as mount olive and others due to the Covid-19 virus. I know personally our team had only signed up for two events one being mount olive and now that it is cancelled technically we can not qualify for MAR. Although im sure they will make an exception to teams what is it gonna be and when will we know. If you have any info about this please send it in
If mt olive isn’t played at a later date, going off of past precedent, MAR will try to squeeze in teams at other events and anyone that can’t make a second event will have their only event count for double points.
Again, this isn’t what’s going to happen, but this is what they’ve done in similar scenarios here and in other districts in the past.
But if another event gets cancelled were in for a fun time…
But what happens in the scenario in which you can’t get to either of your events, like teams that had first event Mount Olive and second gets cancelled that can’t squeeze in an eventt?
We’ve never had a district cancel multiple events so unfortunately I don’t know
like what are they gonna do about worlds too
There are other existing threads about cancellations and postponements. Can we keep the conversation there?
