Unsure, I’m on their street/e-team, and I’m not a fan of Disturbed, but hey…Offical Website.

Wow, Finger Eleven is back…

I have their first two CDs, they’re good.

Taproot is good, they’ve sold out a bit.

I will make no comment about the others.

EvanescenceE-Card
Overplayed and anoying

Finger 11E-Card
Never heard of

Seether
Good band, kinda overplayed

Linkin Park
overplayed, but I can tolerate

Disturbed
I like

Taproot
I like, but I dont think they will do much

TRAPT
Have potential, but starting to reach overpllayed status

I have only heard one Finger 11 song and its pretty good

I will have to say, with Disburbed being the exception, that I enjoyed each of those bands at a particular time. I would listen to them again (and do) but not in a ‘oh, ill listen to this band’ kind of way, but more in a ‘oh, this band came on … ill listen to it, i guess’ way.

I can safely say I do not like Disturbed.

I’m on the same frequency with you on Disturbed.

Taproot isn’t bad. About all the overplayed comments though, I wouldn’t really know honestly. I don’t listen to the radio much (if it all), and VH1 / MTV series sucks IMHO.

Metallica is the greatest band in the history of music.

METALLICA! St. ANGER! JUNE 10th! YEEAAAHHH-AAAHHH!

old metallica (pre black album) = good
new metallica = poo

Evanescence – E-Card
CANT STAND THIS BAND! Make it go away. Linkin Park with a female singer. Would be better if it was just her.
Finger 11 – E-Card
Not bad from what i have heard.
Seether
Haven’t listened to em enough to pass judgement.
Linkin Park
Chester is cool… the music is interesting…but i’m by no means a fan.
Disturbed
Love this band. Its what i listen to before every FIRST competition and most matches to get pumped up. the first album is ALOT better then the second however. Its just so angsty and the whole package of each song (music and lyrics) just gets me ready to go. Out of all the ‘angsty’ ‘my mommy and daddy didn’t love me enough’ style music, (old) korn and disturbed are the only 2 bands i like.
Taproot
Not a big fan.
TRAPT
Not a big fan.
Metallica
Never really have cared for metallica…though there was a time when i was first getting into harder music and i was buying cd’s and i had to choose between metallica black album and nine inch nails downward spiral…i went with NIN and have never regreted it. ‘Master of Puppets’ is like the only metallica song i can stand, and i only like the cover version that one of my friends bands does…

The new Metallica is pretty good IMHO. “I Disappear” was a great non-album song.

Evanescence is a pretty good starting band. Not the best, but hey. [Needs to kill the high-pitched whining though]

Seether: Never listened to them, so I can’t judge

Finger 11: Really good, and their sophomore album is great also.

LP: The “Faint” video wasn’t as cool as I thought it’d be, but the band still kicks major butt.

Disturbed: THAT IS THE DEVIL!!!

Taproot: Steve’s vocals are great in a few songs off of their new cd

TRAPT: They’re like TRUST Co., 1 song being hard-core like, and the rest be like Elvis.

Metallica: One of my most favorite bands.

Heh. I’m not much of a fan of any of those bands, really. I like finding bands people have never heard of then seeing if they become popular. It’s like stocks…but illegal…and involving no money :stuck_out_tongue: Bands that are signed and put on the radio or whatever have to go with what the label says to do…and that means that their music might all begin to sound alike. That’s when it all goes bad.

i like evanescence, they have some good songs, but its too monotonous.

linkin park is sold out

finger 11 i have never heard of them

seether is great

disturbed blows

taproot makes me wanna go out and mosh, its grrrrrrrrreat!

trapt is ok, but like evanescence, too monotonous

only like enter sandman by metallica, thats about it.

anyone like cold? i picked up their new cd and man does it kick butt!!

greg0

I like pre-black album metallica, but yeah they are now getting old. Even though they are losing it they still influenced basically everybody in the music world in one way or another.

I really like NiN

My favorites would have to be

Nirvana

Pearl Jam

Alice in Chains

Soundgarden

I can’t believe how many of you don’t know who Finger Eleven are.

They had an album in 1998 called Tip. It’s good, if I remember right. The first song on the album was ‘Quicksand’, and was pretty popular.

In 2000 they had another album Greyest of Blue Skies, which had one radio hit, I think. ‘Suffocate’ was the song, and it was good.

 Now you know…

I want “Tip” so bad, but I haven’t found it [and I’m not even gonna attempt to order it online :(]

Suffocate got a lot of airplay, but the major one on 89x anyways, was “Bones & Joints”, which I’m sure got airplay a lot of other places as well.

Finger 11 next to LP and Evanescence is my most favorite band.

PS: “Greyest of Blue Skies” kicks major ###! The best song on there IMHO is “Walk In My Shoes” I think it’s called.
